Super Bowl Halftime shows by MTV are lame.........

Who really wants to see MTV try to push crossover down our throats by pairing Hall and Oates with AC/DC and Puff Daddy anyways? Want something better to do during halftime? Want to make a difference instead of sitting on your couch cramming $2 pallet size bags of potato chips from Sams club in your face?

Yes you do. You want to take that sense of selflessness you had when you donated to Haiti, or the same feeling from helping a fellow rodder stuck on the side of the road, and you want to make the Superbowl Halftime something meaningful.

Loyal customers of Chopped and Diced, Steve and Holly Julian can use your help in spreading the word and making a difference. This is their story:

During this weekend's Superbowl, take some time during the halftime show to help Holly Julian.
Twitter Jam Band is putting together a fundraiser to raise $100,000 for Julian immediately following the halftime show. http://www.theotherhalftimeshow.org/.

During the game, log onto Twitter and watch the band perform, but you can also help Julian by posting your own Tweets and spread awareness, re-tweet her posts and donate: http://twitter.com/hugs4holly

Julian, who quit smoking in 1992 after 25 years, has been diagnosed with COPD and is facing a double lung transplant at University Transplant Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Click here to watch Holly talk about her COPD and her fundraising efforts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHA4UkWQ96A&
(This event's put together by Holly's friends at the COPD Foundation.)

So make your Superbowl halftime worthwhile, instead of watching pooey crossover music, with cameos from Janet Jackson's body parts.......
