FAQ > Estimates > What can cause changes to my estimate?
Hidden damage is the largest cause of changes in an estimate. Many vintage and classic vehicles have been suscepted to long term use, prior damage, incorrect custom work, and long periods of time left to the elements. These and other factors attribute to damage that can not be identified when an estimate is completed, and often times can not be identified until work begins on the areas that are effected. When Chopped and Diced identifies damage that was previously hidden, we will stop work on that area and contact the customer to update them on the situation and provide them with options available to them.
Once a decision is made, work will progress on the specified area to the expectations of the customer.
